Roy E Neal, florist, advertised in the 1920 Lawrence County News that he had 14000 square feet of glass(houses) to raise flowers for sale. Cut flowers included Carnations, Roses, Sweet Peas, and Narcissus. Potted plants included Cyclamen, Narcissus, Geraniums, and Ferns. The entire history of Lawrenceville Greenhouses, written by Dan and Holly Scherer, has been included in the Historical Society’s newest book, Growing Aware. The book is for sale at the Research Library, the History Center, or by mail from our website for $25.00.
