St Francisville Ferry Sunk by Load of Fruit

October 3, 1920 St. Francisville Times
Dattilo Brothers’ truck laden with a large consignment of fruits, sank the ferry boat at the Big Four Bridge the latter part of the week. The accident occurred when the truck was leaving the barge on  Indiana side and the driver succeeded in getting the truck out under its own power, although his cargo estimated at about $400 was lost. The ferry was out of commission for two days.
