F.W. Cox Store
The ad above was found in the Bridgeport Leader Sept 20, 1920. The F. W. Cox store in Bridgeport sold dry goods, boots, shoes, and groceries. A coupon also found said that a flour bin and sifter would be given to all patrons when their cash purchases amounted to $25.00. The other picture is a cover of a school paper pad.
Be sure and look for our exhibit case filled with Bridgeport items of the era, during the Smithsonian Exhibit.
