The Sumner
Press published a Summary of Happenings in the county and city which is not
only interesting, but could prove to be helpful to genealogists, particularly
since most of the 1890 census records are not available. This is the third of a

Albert Anderson, of Bond, died… Isaac Joseph of Vincennes dropped dead… Hudson’s
store at Lawrenceville burglarized… Bessie May died… James H. Seed, of
Bridgeport, died… Elmer Paddick and
Lizzie Waggoner married… Drs. French, Barr and Robinson appointed on medical
pension board at Lawrenceville… Robert Middah’s barn burned… Grand Army post organized
at Bridgeport… Lonnie Petty smothered to death in Combs’ elevator… Mrs. Etta
