Land Prices in the County in the 1900's

Lawrence County News August 20, 1919

C. E. Montgomery last week bought the old Gadd farm, 2 miles Northwest of Lawrenceville, paying therefore the sum of $20,000. There are 168 acres in the farm, which is considered one of the best in that part of the County.

Lawrence County News Feb 19,1953  J. N Rosborough, real estate agent, sold the Ed Martin farm of 100 acres in Petty town Thursday. Consideration was $47.50 per acre, Luther Moudy of  Ford County, was the purchaser.
