Abernathy Hardware Building Photos

Since the Abernathy Hardware post was so popular, I decided to post some photos that we have of the building.  However the photos are not dated.  I am asking all of the old car experts out there to view the photos and help date them for the museum files.  The bottom two were probably taken at the same time.

The building itself was built in early 1909 on the southwest side of the Lawrenceville Square, and its first occupant was the Farmer's State Bank.    Next to the bank in 1909 was  the Lawrenceville Bargain Store- a 5 and 10 cent store- and in the rear, where the National Supply Co. had  its store in 1959 was the Fancher Drug Co.  If some one wants to research the fire? that caused the building to be taken down, I will be happy to print it here.
